The mission of Prime Time’s Professional Development Department is to develop and deliver the highest quality continuing education professional development trainings to out-of-school time staff. All trainings offered by Prime Time Palm Beach County are completely voluntary.

Virtual Trainings offer Zoom translated captions that enable users to have the speech in a meeting or webinar automatically translated in real-time to captions in another language. For example, if a meeting participant is speaking in English, other participants can view captions in Spanish, French, Japanese, etc. You can request support with enabling these captions during virtual trainings.

In an effort to reduce barriers, boost accessibility and meet a wide range of schedules and needs, Prime Time trainings are offered virtually, in-person, via self-paced online modules or at your program site, with both morning and evening sessions available!

📍Site Based Trainings

We will come to you! Before making a request, please review our list of already scheduled online and in-person training sessions. If your desired training is offered on the main calendar, encourage all your staff to attend. If you would like our professional development specialists to come to your program site and provide a specialized learning experience, program directors can choose from our catalog of trainings, including specialized learning progressions.

🚗Regional Trainings

Regional trainings are interactive, in-person professional development opportunities designed to strengthen the skills of out-of-school time (OST) professionals through hands-on, experiential learning. Trainings are offered monthly in four regions across Palm Beach County - North, Central, West, and South - making it easier for practitioners to access high-quality learning close to where they work. Topics rotate throughout the year and include engaging themes such as Strategies for Emotion Support, Nurturing Empathy, Growth Mindset, The Power of the Arts, and many more, providing practical strategies that participants can immediately apply in their programs.
