Let Youth Lead: Planning with Purpose (Virtual)
Great programs don’t just happen; they’re built with youth, not just for youth. In this interactive training, you’ll learn how to give young people meaningful opportunities to plan, make decisions, and take ownership of activities and projects.
Explore and practice simple, ready-to-use strategies that help youth set goals, think ahead, solve problems and build confidence as leaders. You’ll leave with hands-on activities and practical tools you can use right away to increase youth voice, boost engagement and create experiences that matter.
Training Objectives:
- Participants will:
- List 4 ways adults can support youth in planning for activities.
- Practice planning activities to use with youth that will engage them in setting goals and writing down a plan.
Upon successful completion of this training / series (see requirements below), the participant can earn up to 1.5 clock hours (.2 CEUs) of training.
