Everyday Strategies for Supporting Youth with their Emotions (Virtual)

Working in afterschool means navigating a lot of different energies and big emotions every single day. This training is all about how we can show up for youth when things get overwhelming. You’ll learn low-stress, practical strategies to help young people process their feelings and build emotional resilience.

Plus, we’ll dive into our own emotional triggers, exploring how staying grounded helps us protect our peace and co-create an emotionally safe space where youth feel genuinely seen and supported. Consider this your baseline toolkit for building a culture of mental well-being in your program!
