Prime Time Palm Beach County is seeking nominees for our Advancing Afterschool Awards 2024, honoring exemplary individuals for their work in the field of afterschool.
Recipients will be recognized for their commitment to quality standards, dedication to the children and contributions to the afterschool field at Prime Time Palm Beach County’s Afterschool Symposium on Friday, May 3, 2024.

Prime Time Palm Beach County fosters professionalism and excellence in the field of afterschool and encourages you to participate in the Advancing Afterschool Awards 2024

📢 Calling All Workshop Presenters

Prime Time Palm Beach County, Inc. is requesting proposals for its Afterschool Symposium 2024.  This one-day, in-person event will take place on May 3, 2024, at the West Palm Beach Marriott hotel.  This year’s theme is Recharge & Revitalize Amplify your impact in the out-of-school time field to offer youth meaningful out-of-school time experiences.

Prime Time is seeking educational workshops that focus on innovative strategies, activities and/or programs that support afterschool leaders and staff that complement ways in which programs, practitioners and the field can Recharge & Revitalize. The workshops should be engaging, educational, enlightening and practical with turnkey resources for immediate and long-term implementation.

Keynote Speaker

Aaron Philip Dworkin
Chief Executive Officer
National Summer Learning Association

Aaron is a national leader in the education, out-of-school time (OST) and youth development fields. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA), which works to ensure all young people in America, but especially the most vulnerable, can access and afford a high-quality summer learning experience every year. Aaron oversees NSLA’s support to their network of 15,000 program partners and leaders in the areas of Program Quality, Partnerships, Policy, Public Awareness and Leadership Development. Prior to NSLA, he served as President of the After-School All-Stars National Network, a non-profit organization providing free afterschool and summer programs to 90,000 low-income students in more than 450 Title I schools in 20 major cities across the U.S. Previously, he founded and directed Hoops & Leaders, an award-winning, grassroots youth mentoring and leadership program for low-income boys in New York City. He is a member of the American Camp Association National Board and a graduate of Tufts University, Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, and the Coro Fellowship and Leadership Greater Washington. He resides in Washington DC with his wife Lauren and two children.
