Diversity Education 101: Embracing Our Identities

Everyone has their own identifiers, groups, and culture(s) they belong to. There are various similarities among us, however, are we capable of embracing our differences? The answer is yes. This week’s interactive workshop will dive deeper into mindfulness and elaborate on the importance of embracing one’s identities for health (mental, physical, emotional and social health). Our goal is to have individuals be proud of who they are, their roots, and all of their identities (not only the ones that are most visible and/or portrayed in media/news).
