Prime Time Palm Beach County is now offering the Progressive Afterschool Practitioner Series that includes a two-part training and community of practice that gives attendees a space to learn from one another. While practitioners can tune in virtually to learn, reflect and grow, they also have the opportunity to earn stipends and continuing education units (CEUs). Where else can you go to reflect, grow, earn incentives and leave with the credentials needed to elevate yourself?
This series infuses facets of job satisfaction with professional development planning. Afterschool professionals are given the opportunity to reflect on individual strengths and areas of growth, and challenged to create a plan for continued professional development. In part-two, attendees are lead through a variety of experiential learning activities that will explore how attendees can continue to develop in the out-of-school time field.
The series is truly a win-win for all. Training attendees come to better themselves, and in turn a better experience for youth is created.
