This June, Prime Time Palm Beach County pays tribute to the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots by celebrating Pride Month. Prime Time celebrates the LGBTQ+ individuals locally, national and across the globe. As a caring organization, we embrace love, equality and diversity, and has partnered with the Compass Community Center to offer professional development opportunities to afterschool and summer camp professionals. Training participants learn that creating a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth in OST programs starts with the adults understanding basic facts about gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. OST professionals will leave the training with concepts on how to become an ally for the LGBTQ+ youth by creating a safe, inclusive environment where they can grow and thrive.
