Teal Chance
Joining Prime Time in 2005 with 10 years of experience as a certified teacher and case manager with the Division of Juvenile Justice at a girls’ residential facility, Teal began her journey in the out-of-school time field when she served as the afterschool coordinator at the Pahokee Beacon Center. Devoted to supporting out-of-school time programs in Palm Beach and Martin counties, for the past 18 years , she has shared Prime Time’s vision locally and nationally by presenting at the Florida After School Alliance, the National AfterSchool Association (NAA) and Every Hour Counts conferences where she shares her passion and expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Salisbury University, Maryland, in Physical Education and Health, and is a certified Coach and Youth Worker Methods and Youth Work Management Trainer from the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality and Weikart Center reliable assessor. She enjoys time with her children and the solitude of the outdoors.
