Nicole Edwards

As the Director of Community Partnerships at Prime Time, Nicole nurtures partnerships with organizations that provide expanded learning opportunities (ELOs), in the areas of health and wellness, arts and culture, academics, and positive youth development, to children and youth in out-of-school time programming, providing them with experiences to help them to succeed in school and in life.
Nurturing such partnerships comes naturally to Nicole. Having worked in the non-profit sector for more than 20 years with a background in the field of mental health, she has worked with thousands of individuals, empowering them to discover their uniqueness and explore their hidden potential.
Nicole expresses her passion for personal reflection and growth as a seasoned speaker, presenting at many conferences all over the country. She recently did a TEDx talk called In Your Eyes, which explores the idea of perception intelligence, i.e., how to consider another’s viewpoint to examine conflict and build more authentic relationships.
Nicole is a Ph.D. student at Florida Atlantic University where she is studying Adult and Community Leadership. She obtained both a Master of Education and Education Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida, and holds the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®) designation.
