Plant and Me

What do all living things need? How do they rely on each other? Become a plant, perform simulations and observations to learn how we are connected to plants! Identify the major parts of plants, recognize that all plants and animals, including humans, need necessities. We will explore easy ways to start seeds by making mini greenhouses to see the plant lifecycle in action.  

Materials:

• Small bowl of water  
• Paper towel   
• Food color (one, any color)  
• Large Ziploc  
• Small Ziploc  
• Cotton ball  
• Dry bean or other seed
