Integrating Signature Practices in OST Activities – VIRTUAL
Wondering how to make real and tangible social and emotional connections in a variety of settings? This training offers simple and effective strategies to integrate Social and Emotional Learning skills in any virtual session using signature practices such as welcoming rituals, engaging practices, brain breaks, and optimistic closures. Participants also walk away with templates for integrating signature practices in OST lesson plans.
Upon successful completion of this training, the participant will earn 2 clock hours (.2 CEUs) of training.
Training Objectives
Participants will:
- Explore and practice simple signature practices that can be used in OST activities
- Create a plan to integrate signature practices in OST activities
Training Outcomes
Participants will:
- Plan and facilitate signature practices in OST sessions with youth
- Create lesson plans that integrate signature practices using evidence-based tools and resources.
