Expanding Youth-Adult Partnerships – Part One – IN-PERSON

This cohort is a “hybrid” learning experience. By registering for this series, you are committing to attending all training sessions both in-person and virtual.

Participants are REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL TRAININGS in the series, participate in an observation and coaching session to help guide and support implementation at their program site and submit assignments in between trainings.

***Please note: Only after-school practitioners working with middle school, high school, or fifth grade elementary youth should register for this training.

The goal of the Expanding Youth-Adult Partnerships (EYAP) Training series is to equip Out-of-School Time practitioners working with teens in Palm Beach County with the skills and knowledge they need to create an environment that fosters positive relationships, leadership and belonging with young people. Practitioners will learn how to work effectively alongside teens while helping them to develop confidence and agency to positively impact their communities.  By using a cohort model, learners in the training series will foster a community of practice where they will glean insight from each other and build connections with other educators in the field.

Upon successful completion of this training series and follow-up assignment(s), participants may earn up to 20 clock hours (2 CEUs) of training.

Training schedule is hybrid with four (4) in-person sessions.
