3, 2, 1 Lift Off

Did you know all the things we launch into space could eventually become space trash! Sometimes our space trash comes back to earth, and it is our responsibility to clean up our messes. Make a paper confetti rocket with us that will be filled with a fun mess, but part of making a mess is cleaning it up too. This project is great for the engineer in the family!

Material / Resources

Paper towel tube or toilet paper tube
Markers/crayons or decorative paper to wrap around the rocket
Paper
Tissue paper
Paper confetti (we will go over making our own with paper scraps or you can buy some)
String or twine
Tape
Glue
Beads
Ribbon
Scissors
Hole puncher

**Parent may need to help with this project, and help make some holes with a needle or pencil.
