Nathalie Caycedo is an accomplished emotional intelligence (EQ) coach. Kasha Deese is deeply committed to personal and career development with a strong focus on Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Certified as an EQ Practitioner and Assessor through Six Seconds, The Emotional Intelligence Network (an ICF-accredited organization), Deese is currently working toward her EQ Coach Certification to further enhance her ability to empower others.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Deese has made meaningful contributions to her local church through the Christian Education Ministry and has volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The Lupus Foundation of America, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, Feeding South Florida and Urban Youth Impact, leaving a lasting impact on South Florida.

Sheila Galera brings more than 28 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, administrator and 21st CCLC program director/instructional specialist. The last five years of her educational history was specifically dedicated to working with the 21st CCLC afterschool programs in Palm Beach County. Galera’s true mission is spreading character education and service learning among all children throughout the world. In her role as director of programs at Charity for Change, she is dedicated to program expansion, engaging sites through positive customer support and providing ongoing professional development.

Brandi Leong has been an educator for 23 years in Palm Beach County Schools. Throughout her experience in education, Molina has taught elementary and middle school education and worked alongside colleagues as a teacher leader and mentor to new and experienced teachers alike. Molina has a heart for children at their core and is dedicated to grow “great human beings” not only in the classroom, but in all areas – including afterschool. She has also founded her own community outreach program, JUYI Inc. (Just Ultimately You Inspired) to work with pre-teens and teens instilling character values and faith-based leadership. In her new role as program expansion and advancement manager at Charity for Change, Molina is passionate about making character education and good citizenship, through kindness and charity, available to all children.

Aarif Khan is a dedicated social impact leader committed to helping others live their best lives. Overcoming personal challenges, including severe mental health struggles and a lifelong speech impediment, Khan found purpose in supporting others as they navigate their own journeys.
His work is driven by innovation, transformative leadership and a deep passion for community impact. Since 2022, Khan has worked with the EJS Project, a nonprofit that empowers teens in Palm Beach County.
Khan earned his bachelor’s degree in social entrepreneurship from the Watson Institute at Lynn University, where he refined his skills, built a strong network and deepened his commitment to social change. His empathy and leadership set him apart, earning him the honor of delivering his class’s graduation keynote speech. Post-graduation, Khan continues to foster social change by empowering underserved communities and creating opportunities that inspire growth, resilience and lasting impact.

Emanuel “Dupree” Jackson, Jr. is the founding director of the EJS Project, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and transforming communities. Raised in both Delray Beach and Sneads, Florida, Jackson has spent his life mentoring at-risk teens and fostering leadership.
A former collegiate athlete, Jackson pursued communications and psychology before founding the EJS Project to address the need for mentorship. Now in its 10th year, the organization has impacted more than 3,500 teens through innovative, grassroots programming.
Recognized as a leader in out-of-school time teen programming, Jackson has spoken at national conferences and advocated for mentorship programs on Capitol Hill. His work has earned accolades, including the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize.
Passionate about equity and opportunity, Jackson continues to challenge systemic barriers. With his wife Janay, and daughters Jazlyn and Kahlia, he remains dedicated to advancing youth empowerment and community-driven changes.

Lili Murphy is a dynamic bilingual leader with extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar programs, building self-reliant teams and delivering professional development for diverse populations. As executive director of Florida After School, Inc., Murphy oversees statewide initiatives that enhance out-of-school time programs, advocate for youth development policies and foster professional learning opportunities.

Folami Prescott-Adams has made significant contributions to youth development initiatives working with the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network, National Recreation and Parks Association and Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
Prescott-Adams is the author of SETCLAE, a self-esteem through culture curriculum, and singer and songwriter on Come Be With Me, her latest CD compilation of her unique brand of Family Music. In 2020, she created Listening 4 Justice, a storytelling experience grounded in personal and collective history to help us face the world.
Prescott-Adams has degrees from Brown University, Temple University and a Ph.D. in Community Psychology from Georgia State University. Stephen Cruse is from Belleville, IL, located east of St. Louis. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s in Sport Business from Temple University. Stephen has a passion for youth development through sports. He previously worked at the Mattoon Family YMCA as the Youth Sport and Adult Leagues Coordinator, focusing on league play and launching one of Mattoon’s first eSports programs. In Philadelphia, he held a Graduate Assistantship with Soccer Shots, emphasizing onboarding and evaluating youth coaches while collaborating with educators and park districts. He also worked as an Assistant Division Coordinator at ESF for the Jr 76ers Academy. Most recently, he was a Community Engagement Associate for the Indiana Pacers, facilitating community events and implementing a wellness initiative for kids in need. Lindsey Wuest (pronounced like West) is an artist, teacher and researcher currently teaching and developing a K-5 Science through Art curriculum at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Lab Schools. Wuest’s interests lie in examining the intersection of art and health - especially in the school setting. Wuest loves to use color, humor and whimsy to keep her classrooms full of smiles, laughter and messes. She believes the future needs creative thinkers - and we have the responsibility to empower our young minds to value everyone’s unique ideas, strengths and perspectives for a better, more colorful tomorrow. Wuest was recently honored as District Teacher of the Year at FAU Lab Schools. She will be moving on to compete for Florida Teacher of the Year 2026!
