In partnership with Prime Time’s expanded learning opportunity providers Prime Time hosted a night of joy and cELObration at the Center for Creative Education. Attendees were welcomed with performances by expanded learning opportunity provider Young Singers of the Palm Beaches.
Prime Time staff and practitioners came together to network with colleagues and get an insider look at some of Prime Time’s free offerings for afterschool programs across Palm Beach County. FLIPANY provided hors d’oeuvres, attendees did crafts with Resource Depot and experienced augmented reality technology through Hado offered through Green Mouse Academy. Prime Time presented a STEAM activity to practitioners to share with the youth in their program. In the activity they created chromosomes using toothpicks and gumdrops to demonstrate how to how chromosomes work.
“It was incredible to see the collaboration, commitment and passion from our partners: Center for Creative Education for hosting; Young Singers and all the logistics to offer three different and fantastic groups of performances” – Luisa Vincent, Community Partnerships Manager, Prime Time Palm Beach County
The cELObration was a way for expanded learning opportunity providers and afterschool professionals to network and celebrate the holidays. It was a chance for families to see their children perform and also learn more about quality out-of-school time.
This event was made possible through funding from the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County Youth Services Department and the Frederick A. Deluca Foundation.
