Teal Chance

Teal Chance joined Prime Time in 2005 with years of experience as a certified teacher in the New Jersey Public School System and case manager with the Division of Juvenile Justice at a girls’ residential facility. She began her journey in the out-of-school time field when she served as the afterschool coordinator at the Pahokee Beacon Center. Fast forward to 2022, Teal has spent more than 15 years working at Prime Time Palm Beach County where has devoted her career to supporting out-of-school time programs in Palm Beach and Martin counties
During her years at Prime Time, Teal has been a presenter at the Florida After School Alliance, the National AfterSchool Association (NAA) and, Every Hour Counts conferences. Teal holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Salisbury University, Maryland, in Physical Education and Health and is a certified Coach and Youth Worker Methods and Youth Work Management Trainer from the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality, and reliable assessor with the Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality, for the SEL Program Quality Assessment.
