Learning doesn’t stop when the activity ends. Building on the strategies from “Quick Ways to Make Learning Stick”, you’ll learn more engaging ways to help young people pause, think back, and make meaning from what they’ve done. You’ll practice strategies for different ages and activities and leave with fresh ideas for turning everyday experiences into meaningful learning moments.
Training Objectives:
Participants will:
- List 4 ways adults can support youth in planning for activities.
- Understand how youth planning promotes self-regulated learning and the development of metacognition and executive functioning skills.
- Practice planning activities to use with youth that will help them become involved and engaged in the program.
