Do you want to provide a supportive environment for youth through powerful learning opportunities, youth-centered relationships where youth feel heard and an environment with structure and clear limits?
In this training series, participants will learn the difference between active learning and “hands-on” learning and how to communicate with youth in a way that makes them feel supported and heard. This training also discusses how to prevent chaos in an afterschool environment without stifling the positive energy of youth. Strategies learned in this training will help you to analyze the level of structure in your program and practice identifying and maintaining clear limits.
