Creating Spaces Where Every Child Can Thrive
Build a program where every child feels welcomed, valued and supported. In this interactive training, you’ll learn practical strategies to adapt activities, create accessible experiences and confidently support children with different abilities and needs. Leave with tools you can use right away to foster belonging, participation and success for every young person in your program.
Training Objectives
Participants will:
- Identify the general characteristics of common developmental disabilities.
- Practice using Person-First Language.
- Recognize the impact of living with a sensory processing disorder.
- Demonstrate how to adapt OST activities to strengthen belonging.
Upon successful completion of this training / series (see requirements below), the participant can earn up to 2 clock hours (.2 CEUs) of training.
