Candace Dixon

Before joining Prime Time, Candace began her career in the afterschool field in 2010 and advanced into an afterschool director role in 2018. She mentored aspiring afterschool directors, coached staff, and actively participated in numerous professional development opportunities through Prime Time. Committed to lifelong learning and youth development, Candace earned her Youth Development College Credit Certificate through the Prime Time Scholarship Program before completing her Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in Education at Florida Atlantic University. She later earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the American College of Education.

Candace is passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for children, youth and families to thrive. Her professional journey has been driven by a commitment to service, leadership and continuous growth. She is proud to be part of an organization that positively impacts the community and believes that every experience has prepared her for the work she is privileged to do today.
