Prime Time offers scholarships toward Palm Beach State College’s Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and more. The traditional human services concentration prepares students for an entry-level position as a human services specialist in areas such as children’s services, family counseling, working with juveniles and adolescents, drug and alcohol abuse, the elderly, socially and economically handicapped, mentally or emotionally handicapped and others. Scholarships are granted to afterschool practitioners for classes, conferences, workshops and seminars promoting quality out-of-school time programming and management and directly related to the out-of-school time field. You may be eligible to receive a Prime Time Professional Development Scholarship if you are employed in an afterschool program as a manager or frontline professional. A Prime Time scholarship application must be completed, signed and submitted for consideration. Scholarship deadlines apply to all coursework and conferences.
