Pamela Newsome joins Prime Time as the PSELI Project Specialist. Pamela has more than 20 years of experience, including grant writing and public speaking in the nonprofit sector in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
Her local career started as director of community education with 2-1-1, where she developed her love for connecting people in need with available resources in the community. Following her career at 2-1-1, she spent 12 years as the director of programs for Urban Youth Impact, where she provided training and assistance to afterschool professionals while developing and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, including local principals and out-of school-time providers. Pamela also worked with the United Way of Palm Beach County providing contract management to more than 20 youth development agencies, as well as working with Birth to 22 coalition and Achieve Palm Beach County. Most recently, she worked as the statewide programs and operations director for a small nonprofit focused on criminal justice reform in Florida. Pamela is a native of West Palm Beach and a graduate of the University of Florida
Her passion is in helping youth achieve their potential and in connecting them with tools for success.
