Making Meaningful Mandalas

Learn a little about the tradition of mandala-making while using easy-to-find materials to create your own!

Intended for grades K-5, but all ages will enjoy this activity. 

This activity is provided by Center for Creative Education.

Materials:

• four pieces of copy paper (or one large piece of paper),
• glue stick,
  
• school glue (like Elmer’s),
• scissors,
• markers or crayons,
• colored paper (optional),
• various recycled or reusable materials such as cardboard,
• straws,
• feathers,
• beads,
• sequins,
• dry pasta,
• dry beans,
• bottle caps,
• magazines, and just about anything you think would look great!
