Homemade Ice Cream!
Facilitators: Ledieska Monier
Recommended Grades: 2nd – 8th
Students will learn about how to make homemade ice cream without an ice cream maker.
Materials: notecard, pencils, pen, measuring cups, milk or milk substitute (Soy, Almond, Banana Puree), sugar, ice, vanilla extract. Timer, gloves, napkins, spoon, two different sizes of Ziplock Bag (one bigger than the other)
Additional ingredients can be used for different flavors for example (cocoa/cacao powder if wanting ice cream to be chocolate) and toppings such as bananas, strawberries, sprinkles, etc.
