Family Central collects baseline data from every afterschool
program in the QIS.
All programs are assigned a Quality Advisor to assist in data
interpretation and program planning.
Training
offered directly address items and indicators on the PBC-PQA and
help participants understand how to apply what they have learned
into practice.
Prime Time
Quality Advisors support program staff in conducting
self-assessments using PBC-PQA which promotes agency discussion
around program quality.
Providers use
baseline data and Prime Time recommendations to develop a
Program Improvement Plan.
Providers
carry out plans to improve quality through various support
mechanisms.
Family Central
conducts re-assessment of each program at approximately the same
time of the prior year and follows the same procedure.
