Florida Fishing Academy Mobile Lab presented by Captain Richard Brochu,
Florida Fishing Academy (
10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.)

Visit the Florida Fishing Academy’s new fun, interactive Mobile Lab. With this new hands-on educational program that will come to your afterschool program, children and youth will have the opportunity to explore a working model of Florida’s watershed, the effects of pollution and beach erosion, and how it relates to the marine-life food chain. They will have a chance to hold various marine life critters in the touch tank, and will participate in an oil spill clean-up activity. These activities all explore the importance of water quality, conservation and a healthy marine environment.  It’s a unique experience your afterschool program won’t want to miss!

The Power of One Caring Adult! presented by Tony Chaidez, Lake Shore Learning

Don’t miss this great opportunity to explore your social and emotional skills!
