Advocacy is an essential part of Prime Time’s efforts to insure that our elected officials and other community leaders know that afterschool programs are critical in helping working families, keeping youth and children safe and inspiring them to learn.

Prime Time’s outreach activities build community awareness for quality afterschool programs for children, youth and their families. Our work includes actions that increase the visibility of afterschool programs, empower youth to speak out about their afterschool needs and promote and support cooperative planning and projects that enhance the performance and quality of providers.
